It’s gonna be a grey day today, that’s what the weatherman said
A cold front’s on its way but I’m jumping out of bed

You bring me in out of the storm

No drop of rain will fall from this clear blue sky
I’m in no pain at all now, I’m flying way too high
You’ve got me where I want to be, it’s clear as far as I can see
I think I’m gonna stay here, ‘cause I know that

I gotta tell you it’s all good
And it feels like it should when I’m with you

I don’t care what they say, I won’t let it get in our way
You and I will be just fine, we’ll leave our troubles all behind
We’ll lighten up our load, find the easy road
And set our worries free

So let’s take today as it is, keep the sun, leave the rain
Just listen to what we want to hear, filter out the junk until it’s clear
